Dissertations & Habilitations
The Exchange and Publication Office of the University Library accepts deposit copies of dissertations and habilitations and issues the certificates required for receiving doctorate certificates.
Publishing Services & Open Access
The University Library supports university members concerning all organizational questions related to Open Access publishing. It manages the publication fund, provides platforms for Open Access publications and operates the RUB Open Access-Repository.
Research Data Management
Research data is generated in all disciplines in various formats and quantities. Managing data covers the entire process from planning, collecting and storing data to questions of archiving and publication or provision. The University Library is part of the Research Data Management Working Group. At RUB, we support your data management.
Digital Humanities Center (DHC)
The Digital Humanities Center (DHC) promotes the integration of information technology into the humanities and supports the implementation of DH projects at RUB. In addition, the DHC connects researchers on campus by organizing workshops and conferences such as the DH Day.
Campus Research Bibliography
The Campus Research Bibliography records all publications of RUB researchers. If an individual’s ORCID profile is linked to the Campus Research Bibliography, the publication data between the Campus Research Bibliography and ORCID are automatically synchronised.
Bibliometric analyses provide information about the visibility and impact of research by people, projects and organisations. We advise on bibliometric topics and questions and support researchers and research projects in selecting suitable tools and indicators.
The Open Researcher and Contributer ID (ORCID) is an internationally recognised personal identifier for academic and scientific contributors. It connects researchers with their research. RUB is a member of ORCID and recommends RUB researchers to use ORCID in its Publication Guidelines. You can link your ORCID profile to the Campus Research Bibliography to synchronise your publication data.
